Open the lift tab on your Electric lift (Back-mounted Electric lift)

To avoid using the red bypass button to move your electric lift to free arm position, open the rubber stopper on the lift. 

You may need to engage the bypass button to reveal the rubber stopper-located near the middle of the electric lift.

You can now move your lifter by just using the up/down button.
