Bypass button not bringing platform to the top (Back-mounted Electric lift)

Problem: The electric lift won't come to the top by engaging the bypass button with the machine on the platform. 

 

Solutions:

First we would like to check that the platform is secure on the lift unit and doesn't have a wobble or give back/forth or side to side. If it does, please tighten the 4 bolts on each wing of the lift (14mm). Check the unit again with the bypass to see if this resolved the issue. 

 

If not, the weight of the machine must be bending the unit just enough to cause the platform to sensor the stop as if the lift was at the top.  The limit switches are too close and need to be bent out just a little. We recommend using a flathead screwdriver to push the two limit switches to the right. Start with a small amount of pressure to the right and check the lift by pass again.
